PEMBERDAYAAN POKDARWIS LANTEBUNG MELALUI PENYULUHAN PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER JIWA EKSPLORATIF BERBASIS DIGITAL

The limited understanding of the Lantebung Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis Lantebung) regarding character education, digital literacy, and the productive use of technology poses a significant challenge in developing adaptive and competitive human resources. This condition contributes to the weak exploratory mindset, creativity, and confidence of Pokdarwis members in utilizing digital-based educational and entrepreneurial opportunities. This community service activity aimed to strengthen exploratory character education through an interactive digital education approach. The implementation methods included counseling, socialization, interactive discussions, and simulations of educational digital applications such as Google Search, YouTube, and Kahoot. The activity partner was the Lantebung Tourism Awareness Group, involving 25 participants. Evaluation was conducted using pre-tests and post-tests, participation observation, and questionnaires measuring participants’ satisfaction and understanding of the materials. The results showed a 42% increase in participants’ understanding of exploratory character education concepts, a 38% improvement in digital literacy, and a 45% increase in participants’ confidence in trying new technologies. In addition, 32% of participants reported an improved understanding of the potential use of digital technology for simple entrepreneurial activities and supporting children’s learning. These findings indicate that the program was effective in enhancing exploratory soft skills, digital literacy, and community awareness of the importance of technology-based character education as a sustainable empowerment strategy.
