Abstract

Downstreaming technology to the community through the development of local East Java fish edu-tourism potential based on the wisdom and economic characteristics of the local community in the Boonpring ecotourism of Sanankerto Village has been carried out by the Aquaculture Team of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang. The purpose of this community service program is to realize local East Java fish edu-tourism through the implementation of a technology breeding program. The method used is a training and mentoring method approach. The target community or partner in this service program is the Tirtamas Pokdakan which was formed in 2019 with Mr. Susiadi as the chairman, and 10 members. The main group activities are to carry out conservation or conservation, and cultivation development, with a land use area in the Boonpring area of 5 ha. The main obstacle faced by Partners is the lack of knowledge and skills of partners in breeding or technology of local East Java fish breeding programs for the purpose of controlled fish farming, The second obstacle is the weak management of local East Java fish conservation with the aim of realizing a genetic bank and educational facilities for local East Java fish for the general public, and the third obstacle is the low growth and survival of local East Java fish seeds from natural spawning which currently only reaches 40%. This condition has an impact on the economic income of the Partner program. The solution offered is to improve partner knowledge and skills in the application of breeding program technology, sustainable conservation management, and controlled production of local East Java fish seeds or cultivation
